Students in grade two have been learning about Philippe Petit, who is an incredible tightrope artist. His most famous tightrope walk is a walk between the Twin Towers in New York City when they were still being built. Together, we’ve read The Man Who Walked Between the Towers by Mordecai Gerstein. This book also won a gold Caldecott Medal in 2004. We also began asking questions about Philippe. How can he do such amazing stunts? This week, we will research a few of our questions together.
